1. About these terms

Nashex is operated by NASHEX LTD, company number 16497234. Its registered-office details are listed on the Company Information page. Contact us at nashexbusiness@gmail.com.

By creating an account, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Age Policy, and—if you purchase Premium—the Cancellation & Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Nashex.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Nashex.
• Your registration information must be accurate and you must keep your sign-in details secure.
• Your account is personal. Do not share, sell, or transfer access.
• Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised account use.

3. Free and Premium plans

The Free plan has the limits displayed on the pricing page and inside the product. Usage allowances may reset monthly and unused allowances do not roll over. Premium provides the features advertised for the chosen billing period, subject to fair use, safety limits, and temporary technical availability.

We may change future plan features or prices. A change to the price of your existing renewing subscription will be notified in advance and will not take effect before your next permitted renewal. You may cancel before it applies.

4. Payments and renewal

Premium is billed by Stripe in pounds sterling at the price shown at checkout, including or plus any applicable tax shown there. It automatically renews monthly or annually until cancelled. You authorise Stripe and Nashex to take each recurring payment using your selected method.

If the account holder is under 18, a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult must authorise and complete the Premium purchase, use a payment method they are permitted to use, and accept responsibility for the subscription charges. Free accounts do not require a payment method.

You can cancel through Billing in Nashex or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewal and ordinarily leaves Premium active until the paid period ends. Refund rights are set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy and do not affect rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. The educational and AI service

Nashex is a study aid. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your course. Marks, predicted grades, citations, explanations, recommendations, and Assignment Feedback are not official academic decisions or professional advice. Check important information against original sources, course rules, and qualified teaching staff.

Nashex does not guarantee a grade, exam result, admission outcome, uninterrupted access, or that every uploaded file can be interpreted correctly.

6. Your content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of material and original work you upload. You grant NASHEX LTD a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, extract, transform, and process that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the features you request.

You promise that you own the content or have permission to use and process it in Nashex. Uploading material does not transfer copyright to Nashex. Do not upload confidential, unlawfully copied, or restricted assessment material.

Nashex Library is optional. If you explicitly publish your own notes or revision resource, you grant NASHEX LTD a non-exclusive licence to host, display, copy, version, distribute, and allow other Nashex students to download or import that published resource. You may unpublish or withdraw the listing, but copies students already imported into their private modules remain available to them with attribution and provenance. You must not publish textbooks, lecturer slides, paid resources, copied notes, confidential content, or any work you do not have the right to distribute.

Nashex software, branding, interface, and non-user content belong to NASHEX LTD or its licensors. These terms do not give you rights to copy, resell, reverse engineer, or exploit them.

7. Academic integrity and acceptable use

You must follow your institution's academic-integrity rules. Do not submit AI-generated work as your own where prohibited, use Nashex during a restricted live assessment, or use the service to facilitate cheating. The Acceptable Use Policy forms part of these terms.

8. Suspension, termination, and account deletion

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, address non-payment, or prevent harm. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a fair opportunity to resolve it.

You may delete your account in Settings. Deletion cancels active Premium renewal and removes active account and study data, while records we must retain for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or law remain for the applicable period.

9. Service changes and availability

We may maintain, fix, add, or retire features. We will give reasonable notice if a material change removes a core paid feature during your paid period. The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, provider failure, security work, or events outside our reasonable control.

10. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights.

Nashex is provided for personal educational use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, NASHEX LTD is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss, lost academic opportunity, or a decision made without independently checking AI output. If we fail to provide a paid service with reasonable care and skill, your statutory remedies remain available.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you keep any mandatory protections and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect product or legal changes. Material changes will be notified in the service and may require acceptance. Questions can be sent to nashexbusiness@gmail.com.
